Short Cinema. Delicate Matters – a programme featuring the latest and most captivating Lithuanian short films, full of action, humor, tension, and mystery. These absurdly funny yet deeply moving stories explore familiar life situations: a mother’s sacrifice for her son’s future; a daughter’s effort to organize a traditional funeral in unconventional circumstances; an unexpected phone call between a helpline worker and a stranger; the private shopping lists of shopping mall visitors; and a meeting with a charismatic anatomy professor who handles delicate matters with exceptional finesse.

Both an urge to set roots deep in life and curiosity to experience it beyond the mundane starts to unveil behind the necessities satisfying day-to-day life. Oddly, this short doc should reflects buying in terms of existentialism, not consumerism.
