Acclaimed Lithuanian theatre actor and director Dainius Kazlauskas makes his feature film directorial debut with "(im)perfect strangers", a Lithuanian adaptation of the Italian box-office hit.
A group of longtime friends gathers for a dinner party, unaware that the evening will change their relationships forever. When one of them proposes a game, everyone places their phones on the table and agrees to share every incoming call and message with the group. At first, it seems like harmless fun — after all, everyone believes they have nothing to hide. But as the night unfolds, each new message reveals carefully guarded secrets, hidden affairs and long-buried truths. By the end of the evening, it becomes clear that none of their relationships will ever be the same.
“(im)perfect strangers", is a witty relationship comedy about friendship, love, secrets and the price of honesty. The film poses a provocative question: how well do we really know the people closest to us — and how much do we truly want to
know?
