Instructor

Is a Hollywood-style comedy, written by Dominykas Klajumas and Benas Lastauskas, and made without the usual quirks of Lithuanian cinema.

Martynas (Justinas Jankevičius), an arrogant but good-hearted Vilnius local, loses his driving licence because of his own stupidity and cockiness. Brushing it off as no big deal, he once again angers his pregnant fiancée, who leaves him and goes to stay with her parents.

Determined to win her back, Martynas sets off on what seems like a straightforward journey to regain his licence. Along the way, he meets the Instructor (Dominykas Klajumas), an eccentric teacher from an even stranger driving school.

For Martynas, getting his licence back soon turns into the greatest challenge of his life, orchestrated by the completely unhinged Instructor. He will make Martynas cry, laugh, blush with embarrassment, and ultimately realise one simple truth:

Passing your driving test is hard. Keeping your nerves is even harder!
